Stratford Future

Stratford Future is a dedicated research platform that explains to local residents, businesses, and stakeholders the large number of new developments planned in and around Stratford town centre.

Developed for Stratford Original Business Improvement District (BID), this research provides a comprehensive overview of the developments planned across Stratford town centre, presented in a clear and publicly accessible way. The aim is to enable local residents to make informed decisions about how Stratford may change over the coming years. Originally commissioned in 2023, the research has been comprehensively updated in 2026 to reflect the continued transformation ofStratford town centre and the latest planning, development and regeneration proposals.

Stratford is changing at an extraordinary pace. New homes, workplaces, cultural venues and public spaces are reshaping the town centre, but the scale and complexity of development can make it difficult to understand how individual projects connect or what their cumulative impact will be. Drawing on publicly available information, we use architectural modelling and illustrative mapping to bring together more than 30 development sites into a single, accessible resource. The research provides a clear picture of Stratford's evolving urban landscape, helping businesses, residents, developers and public-sector organisations understand both current proposals and the area's long-term direction.

Stratford Original Business Improvement District (BID) actively engages with and responds to many of the major development proposals affecting the town centre. Alongside this, it keeps its business community informed about emerging plans, helping to raise awareness of future changes and create opportunities for businesses to engage with the planning process.

Rather than presenting projects in isolation, Stratford Future reveals how they relate to one another, offering a broader understanding of the investment, growth and opportunities shaping the future of Stratford. The latest edition of the research was launched in June 2026 and reflects the most up-to-date publicly available information on development across Stratford town centre.
